Bajaj keeps it traditional on this one to keep the racer's and its own racing spirit intact. The SS400 gets a traditional circular super sport tachometer which ranges to 12,000 RPM. The backlit LED display that extends to either sides of the tachometer carries all the necessary parameters and indicators for a super sport.

The right panel is a blue backlit LCD display which has the speedometer, the odometer, the fuel gauge, trip selector and the gear selection. The left panel has LED indicators which consists of a red ABS warning light, a blue head lamp indicator, a green neutral transmission indicator, an amber ECU / engine warning light , green directional indicators and the time. At the top the console has a red warning light that will flash for any malfunctioning on the ECU. It also has two push buttons to control and adjust the digital display. There is also a key slot for handle locking and to turn the ECU ON / OFF.
